This policy explains what personal information TALLYFEED LLC ("Tallyfeed", "we", "us") collects when you use the Tallyfeed app at app.tallyfeed.com and this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Tallyfeed is a tool for planning, scheduling and publishing posts to your social media accounts.
When you create an account we collect your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider). You can add your first name, last name and a profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account (see "Google sign-in" below).
We store the content you and your teammates create in Tallyfeed: post captions, per-network settings, images and videos you upload, schedules, internal comments and @mentions, workspace names and the list of workspace members and their roles.
When you connect a social media account (for example LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads or Bluesky), you sign in on that network and grant permission for Tallyfeed to publish on your behalf and to read the results of posts made through Tallyfeed. We store the account's name, username and profile picture, and, for posts published through Tallyfeed, the post's address and its metrics such as views, likes, comments and shares. The access tokens for these accounts are held by our social publishing provider, Post for Me, and are used only to publish your posts and fetch their results.
Our servers record standard technical information when you use the app, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. When something goes wrong, we collect an error report with technical details about what happened. Error reports are linked to an internal user ID and workspace ID, not to your name or email address.
The app uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember which workspace you are using. This website may use analytics to understand how visitors use it. We do not use advertising cookies.
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use this information only to create and sign you in to your Tallyfeed account, to show your name and photo to you and your teammates inside Tallyfeed, and to match you to any workspace invitation sent to that email address. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts or any other Google data.
Tallyfeed's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
We share information only with the service providers that help us run Tallyfeed, and only as needed for them to do so:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
Tallyfeed's database and file storage are hosted in the European Union (Ireland). Some of our service providers process data in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on our providers' standard safeguards for such transfers.
We disclose personal information to a government, court or other public authority only when the law requires it. Before responding to any request, we review it to confirm that it has a valid legal basis, such as a subpoena, court order or warrant, and that it comes from an authority with the power to make it.
If a request is unlawful, overly broad or lacks a proper legal basis, we challenge it or decline to comply, using the legal remedies available to us. When we must comply, we disclose only the minimum information the request legally requires.
We keep a record of every request we receive, including who made it, when it was made, its legal basis, how we responded and why.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual posts, media and comments at any time. When you delete your account, we delete your account information, and workspaces you own are deleted along with their posts, media and comments. Copies may remain in our providers' backups for a limited period before they are overwritten. Posts already published to a social network stay on that network until you remove them there.
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Tallyfeed is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, if the changes are significant, let you know by email or in the app.
For any questions about this policy or your personal information, email support@tallyfeed.com.
